Don’t draw conclusions until you know all the facts
A young couple are travelling on a train alone in their booth. As the train stops at a station, an old man and his 25-year-old son climb into the booth and sit down.
As the train starts to move, the young man is filled with joy and curiosity.
He stumbles towards the window seat and presses his face against the bars and put his hand out in excitement and shouts,
“Papa see all trees are going behind”.
The old man smiles and revels in his son’s excitement.
The couple sitting in the booth are amazed and a little embarrassed at seeing the youth behave like a kid.
Suddenly young man shouts again, “Papa see the pond and animals and clouds are moving with the train”.
The couple is really embarrassed now and don’t know where to look.
As it starts raining, the man stretches his arm completely out of the window and as the water drops dampen his arm he is filled with joy.
“Look at the rain papa. Look, look”
The couple is frustrated and turn to the old man and say,
“Don’t you think you should get your son treated by some doctor?”
The Old man looks at them smiles and says, “We are just returning from the hospital.
My son has just undergone an elaborate eye surgery and has had his eye sight restored after 24 years”
Moral: “Don’t draw conclusions until you know all the facts”.
